Rounded gel characters

The top and edges of each gel character are rounded. From the side, you see a domed profile rather than the straight edge of an acrylic digit.

Compare finishes Check plate sizes

3D Gel or 4D acrylic?

Gel has a curved face; acrylic has a flat face and a more abrupt edge. If you prefer rounded characters, choose gel. If you want a straighter side profile, look at plain 4D acrylic.

Front and rear sizes

You can choose a single plate or a pair. Where the format allows it, the front and rear can use different sizes. The price changes with your selection, so check the quantity alongside the total.

Can I buy a single plate?

Yes. Choose Front, Rear or Front & Rear in the builder. The displayed total updates to match your selection.

Which options are suitable for the road?

Raised black characters are allowed. Road plates still need the correct lettering, spacing, reflective background and supplier and British Standard markings. Carbon Gel, tinted plates and custom spacing are for show use only.

What documents will I need?

We need proof of your name and address, plus proof that you can use the registration. A driving licence and a matching V5C are one example. A V750 or V778 can also prove entitlement. Our document guide explains the alternatives.
